Honkai: Star Rail’s Space Station Task Force is a much-needed break between all the highly intensive events such as the Swarm Disaster and the Underground Treasure Hunt. Instead of sending your unit outs to assignments to collect enemy drops, credits, and level-up materials, you will instead focus on special assignments that get you the most valuable thing in this game: Stellar Jades.
Space Station Task Force Event Guide and Break Down for Honkai: Star Rail
This new event for Honkai: Star Rail will replace the regular assignments you send out every other day, but you won’t need to worry about losing out on too many of your credits or materials. These new missions you can carry out will appear under a new tab in your Assignments, labeled Space Station Task Force.
There are three tiers: Gold, Purple, and Blue. The duration of these tasks as well as the rewards differ from one another, with Gold being the longest assignment at eight hours but yielding the best rewards and Blue lasting about 3 to 4 hours, with rewards being small but still substantial. Like your regular assignments, you’ll need to send out a particular Pathfinder to conduct the assignment. Your rank and rewards will change depending on how many of the same Path you send out for the mission. By hitting S-Rank, you’ll receive substantial rewards such as Stellar Jades, Credits, Level-Up Materials, and Relic Fragments.
At most for each assignment, you’ll need three of your own characters who fall in the line of the recommended Path, so if it requires Destruction, you’ll want to put forward three Destruction characters to achieve maximum rewards. The Fourth Slot is reserved for Support Characters, meaning you can borrow your friend’s units here too. Sending out four characters belonging to the Recommended Path will grant you the best rewards each time.
These assignments are limited, however. You’ll only be able to send out Six Gold Assignments, Six Purple Assignments, and 12 Blue Assignments. And once you have completed an assignment for the day, you won’t be able to unlock the next one until 12 hours later. Once these assignments are over, you can no longer send out characters or retrieve further rewards from that mission.
Because these assignments take hours of real-time, it’s best to start as soon as the event is up. This is not an event that you’ll be able to speedrun. It’s passive yes, just to give you a breather from all of the other much more complex and time-consuming events that are ongoing.

Honkai: Star Rail has a mix of passive and active events, so while this event may not be as interesting, it does help to get a few more drops from your assignments as well as reward you with Stellar Jades. Be sure to make plenty of friends, you may find a Support Character you might want to pull for yourself.
