EA is kind of strange when it comes to cheats in The Sims 4. They say that they even encourage it to some extent! After all, video games are supposed to be fun.

In order to be able to type cheat codes into The Sims 4, you need to have the Cheat Console open first. Opening the Cheat Console in The Sims 4 is simple. On PC and Mac, you’ll need to press Ctrl (Command on Mac), Shift, and C together. On PlayStation and Xbox, hold all shoulder buttons at once.

In order to activate the Motherlode cheat in The Sims 4, simply type motherlode into the Cheat Console. It’s as easy as that.
