This hotfix is pretty minor and mostly focuses on fixing some loading screens and crashes. It’s not adding any new content or addressing some of the system in the game that needs work. Don’t expect a lot of changes with this one, but if you’ve been suffering from one of the problems below, at least those are fixed now.

GAMEPLAY

  • Fixed an infinite loading screen issue that resulted from suspending and resuming gameplay while Fast Traveling across the map
  • Fixed a save system crash that resulted from suspending and resuming gameplay while Fast Traveling across the map

SERVERS

  • Updated game server heartbeat logic for improved backend communication with live servers

Hopefully, now the multiplayer servers will be a little more consistent, and the weird save system crash will no longer affect players trying to enjoy the game. Redfall still needs a lot of work, but fixing the performance and technical issues to ensure a stable gameplay experience is still the most important on the to-do list.
