Red Dead Redemption 2 Hunting Requests Guide

Hunting requests will be unlocked once you’ve entered Chapter 2 of the main story in Red Dead Redemption 2. Completing five of them is a requirement for the quest called A Better World, A New Friend. You’ll be able to pick these hunting requests up from either post offices or train stations in the following areas:

  • Armadillo
  • Rhodes
  • Saint Denis
  • Strawberry

One important thing to note about these hunting requests is that you can only have one active at a time, so you can’t just be gallivanting around in the wild and picking animals off willy-nilly. As part of the various hunting requests that you can pick up, you’ll be asked to put down a variety of different types of fauna, ranging from birds to things that are a little larger. We’ve listed the hunting requests that you can get and what your rewards will be for completing them. Please keep in mind that all carcasses are going to have to be in perfect condition to count towards these:

  • One adult rabbit, one average squirrel – $50
  • One cardinal, one rat, one woodpecker – $70
  • One chipmunk, one opossum, one oriole, one robin – $100
  • One songbird, one sparrow, one toad, one bullfrog, one skunk – $120
  • One cedar waxwing, one bat, one blue jay, one crow, one beaver – $150 and a letter from Mrs Hobbs

Every time you take care of one of these requests, you’ll have to mail the results to Mrs Hobbs, who will give you the amount of money specified above for your troubles. Eventually, you’ll also be invited into her fine home. Talk about these Red Dead Redemption 2 Hunting Requests being a killer deal. Need a hand with anything else in the Wild West?
