While The Depths can be accessed early on from Lower City, it’s recommended to avoid it until later. You will naturally, albeit forcefully, be sent to The Depths after an event in Upper City, which is when you’ll start your journey in the dank underbelly of Persepolis. While the area consists of two sections, The Depths and Catacombs, they are considered one zone.
