However, here’s some in-depth detail about the Pokemon GO PvP rewards and ranks that you’ll be able to earn as part of the Battle League.
Pokemon GO PvP Rewards and Ranks – Ranking System
So, you’re wanting to know a little bit more about the Pokemon GO PvP ranking and reward system in the Battle League. We’ve already prepped a bit of primer here on the general things that you might expect and relinked that here for your convenience, but now we have specifics.
There’s going to be 10 different ranks as part of the Pokemon GO Battle league. We’ve listed what you need to do in order to get from one rank to another below:
- Rank 1 requirement: None (just unlock the Battle League as per our guide above)
- Rank 2 requirement: Complete five battles as rank 1
- Rank 3 requirement: Complete five battles as rank 2
- Rank 4 requirement: Complete five battles as rank 3
- Rank 5 requirement: Win five battles as rank 4
- Rank 6 requirement: Win seven battles as rank 5
- Rank 7 requirement: Win 10 battles as rank 6
- Rank 8 requirement: Reach a battle rating of 1,800 or higher
- Rank 9 requirement: Reach a battle rating of 2,100 or higher
- Rank 10 requirement: Reach a battle rating of 2,700 or higher
Pokemon GO PvP Rewards and Ranks – Rewards
It’s not just Stardust and candy that you can get from doing well in the Pokemon GO Battle League. If you’re particularly proficient, you can also access Pokemon encounters that would be a little trickier to come across organically, and the rarity of these scales with your performance in the Ranking System. We’ve listed off the encounters below:
- Rank 1 to 3: Machop, Oshawott, Snorlax, Snivy, Tepig
- Rank 4 to 6: Machop, Meditite, Oshawott, Scraggy, Skarmory, Snivy, Snorlax, Tepig
- Rank 7 to 10: Deino, Lapras, Larvitar, Litwick, Machop, Meditite, Oshawott, Scraggy, Shieldon, Skarmory, Snivy, Snorlax, Tepig
