Just a small, insignificant erro

Before you can finally face your finals in July, some teachers will test your knowledge beforehand in Persona 3 Reload, this time with a simple grammar question. Your goal is to simply identify where the comma splice should be, so let’s get into this now.

Where Should the Comma Splice Be in Persona 3 Reload?

The answer to Ms. Toriumi’s comma splice question is Between “time” and “it’s.” The comma between “now” and “we” is correctly placed, as well as the one between “started” and “to,” leaving only one possible wrong choice.

If you’ve been paying attention in class (in Persona 3 or otherwise), you’ll know that a comma splice refers to a comma that has been incorrectly placed. In Ms. Toriumi’s example, the comma splice is such because you can’t join two independent clauses with a comma and no conjunction. In other words, the given example has two complete sentences but no joining word to link them, making the comma between the two sentences too weak to appropriately distinguish the two statements as separate from one another, even if related.

Ms. Toriumi’s question during 7/8 is quite easy to answer, and you get the usual rewards for answering correctly. That is, a free Charm point to help you max out the stat. Your Charm should already be at a respectable level by now if you’ve been answering previous questions correctly. Getting good results in your exams will also give you some good social boosts, so don’t slack on those either

While this is a regular question in Persona 3 Reload, it’s one of those that you should pay attention to, since a variation will later be featured in your July Final exams. But that one will be way easier, as it actually presents the grammar issue to you, and its answer (during 7/17) is “Comma splice“. Can’t get easier than that, I guess.

If for any reason you pressed the wrong button or skipped through the class altogether, you can always load an old save back or make use of the Rewind feature. If going for the latter, you probably won’t be losing much of your progress and will be able to return to the same point in a matter of a minute or two if you skip the non-question texts.

There are still a lot of other questions left to be answered in later classes, so keep your eyes open for those. The Charm boosts are always welcome to start other Social Links such as Lovers as soon as possible.
