Payday 3: How to Flip the Right Switch in No Rest for the Wicked

Is it blue? Green? Purple? Rainbow???

If you’re getting into the stealth side of Payday 3, you’re likely to be initially confused by the lack of objective markers. While some things are marked, other tasks are left ambiguous, so you hunt around and try to find them yourself. One such objective involves flipping a switch to open the security gate leading to the vault. Here’s how to flip the right switch during Payday 3’s No Rest for the Wicked heist.

How to Flip the Correct Switch in Payday 3’s No Rest for the Wicked

Payday 3 Power Room

To flip the right switch during No Rest for the Wicked in Payday 3, you’ll need to get the correct switch color from the power room either upstairs or on the roof. The room is marked by a red keycard reader, meaning you’ll need a red keycard from a guard. You’ll also need to turn off the power to the gate, which we have a guide for below.

Once you’ve pickpocketed the red keycard from one of the guards (found either on the second or first floor of the bank), open up the power room and interact with the computer inside. After a few seconds, you can interact with it again to light up the small screen to the side. On that screen will be the correctly colored switch you need to flip. In my example, the correct switch is blue.

Once you know the correct switch, head over to the switchbox next to the security gate and open it. From there, flip whichever colored switch was listed, and you’ll be good to continue the heist. Now, you’ll need to find a high-level executive to get vault access.
