Monster Hunter: World finally has a release date for its PC version, and fans looking to dive into the world of Astera on their computers have a lot to look forward to next month. Monster Hunter: World PC Requirements

If you’re looking to explore Astera on your PC, then you’re going to need to meet the minimum requirements. Alongside the release date reveal, Capcom has also revealed the minimum and recommended PC requirements for Monster Hunter: World.

There are a couple of things to note before we dive into these PC specifications, though. First, you won’t need the beefiest system to play the game, though you will want something that’s a bit future proofed, as the developers have plans to continue updating the game both visually and performance wise. For now, though, Monster Hunter: World on PC will be comparable to Monster Hunter: World on console.

Here’s what you’ll need to play Monster Hunter: World on your PC:

Minimum System Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 (64-Bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4460, 3.20GHz or AMD FX-6300
  • Memory: 8GB Ram
  • Storage: 20GB or more of available space.
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x (VRAM 2GB)
  • Direct X: Version 11

Recommended System Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 (64-Bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz or Intel Core i3 8350 4GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  • Memory: 8GB Ram
  • Storage: 20GB or more of available space.
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (VRAM 3GB) or AMD Radeon RX570x (VRAM 4GB)
  • Direct X: Version 11

Meeting the minimum requirements will allow you to hit 1080p at 30FPS on the game’s lowest settings. You’ll be able to run the game at 1080p at 30FPS when your graphic settings are set to high.
