One of the most frustrating parts of Monopoly GO can be partners unwilling to help out during different Partner Events. Is there a way that you can select a new partner, or are you stuck carrying the weight until the competition comes to a close?

Can You Get New Partners During Partner Events In Monopoly GO?

Unfortunately, at this point, there is no way to remove a partner that isn’t chipping in. While there are plenty of folks in the official Monopoly GO Discord channel who are pitching ideas to help players who are being stung along by less-than-helpful teammates, there is still no word on any sort of workaround for these frustrating moments in the game.

While the idea of implementing a button that allows you to remove a partner that hasn’t helped in 24 hours, or if they’ve only chipped in a few hundred points sounds like a dream come true, we may need to wait for the next Partner Event to come around before something like this is added into the game. While you may miss out on cash, tokens, and dice, the only thing we can recommend right now is to continue trying to complete your mission and utilize things like the 6,7,8 Method to try and maximize the potential of your rolls.

While Monopoly GO is rather fun, moments like this can become extremely frustrating and challenging to deal with. We can only hope that Scopely can figure out a way to let you remove players who are making the game less fun and start implementing positive changes to make Monopoly GO the must-play mobile game we’ve been waiting for.
