Is Warhammer 40K: Darktide on Game Pass? – Answered

You shall (sort of) pass!

Warhammer 40K: Darktide is partially available on both PC and Xbox Series X|S. For many, this is a long time coming through many delays and crumbs of information. And what a release its been, with all the best parts of Vermintide 2 being brought in along with plenty of fresh features to shake things up. If you’re on Game Pass, you may be wondering if the game is coming to the platform. Here’s whether Warhammer 40K: Darktide will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Will Darktide Be on Xbox Game Pass?

While it might seem like the answer is pretty straightforward, a lot of it depends on what sort of existence on Game Pass you’re referring to. If you’re talking about those who are playing before release, then no, the game’s pre-order beta isn’t available on Game Pass. As the name suggests, it’s exclusively for those who have pre-ordered the game and no one else. As for November 30th’s release, that’s a completely different story. As it stands, Darktide is slated to hit Game Pass for PC on launch day, while the status of Darktide on Game Pass for Console is unknown. While Darktide is currently planned to hit Xbox Series X|S at some point, it won’t be released on November 30. That will take some more time, so it won’t be on Game Pass for Console until that happens.

As for whether the game will come to Game Pass for Console, that seems likely though no official information has been given. The game is already on PC Game Pass, so it’s only natural that either the game will leave the service down the line, or will come to Game Pass for Console at some point. Again, this isn’t 100% confirmed so take this with a grain of salt.
