Marvel’s Midnight Suns is the newest addition to Marvel’s roster of games surfing in the superhero craze. The game follows the story of the new original hero Hunter as she teams up with the other classical faces, such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Iron Man, in facing off against her own mother, the sorcerer Lilith.Â
And for the notice, this game’s actually a tactical RPG game instead of an adventure one, as some would expect. You control your actions through the use of cards that are played during the turn-based combats against Hydra forces, and you can assemble a team composed of your favorite heroes for each different moment.
But with so many heroes and cards to choose from, it’s tempting to try the game out with friends. It would be great to defend the earth along with your pal or simply kick each other’s ass in a 1v1 combat to see which is the best team with all those Captain America: Civil War vibes. Can you play the game in multiplayer?
Can You Play Midnight Suns in Multiplayer?Â
Just like most turn-based RPGs, Midnight Suns does not have a Multiplayer mode. The game is solely focused on the single-player experience and the new story revolving around Hunter and Lillith’s conflict that has been happening for ages.

It would just feel right to play this game with more people, but it seems that developer Firaxis didn’t consider making this idea a reality. It still feels strange when we see that their other titles do have the option for playing with friends, such as the Civilization titles and the very similar XCOM series.
It might not be the end of the world, as the game has just been released. They might decide to include new, extra modes in the future with some updates, but nothing has been announced just yet. We’ll be sure to let you know if anything changes.
Midnight Suns is available for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
