While a multiplayer co-op version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would be interesting, especially as two people play as each Spider-Man, the decision makes sense when we look at past games, including its predecessor, Marvel’s Spider-Man. The 2018 prequel was also a single-player game featuring the original Spider-Man traveling around New York City and completing missions. With this in mind, it’s no surprise that its sequel would be single-player, even if its catchphrase is “Be Greater, Together.”
