As of May 15, the servers of EA FC 24 are down, which has impacted online operations and multiple game modes. While this has alarmed many, the servers are down as part of routine maintenance. EA Sports has announced the start and end times of today’s server maintenance to make it easier for the community.

EA FC 24 Server Maintenance Timings (May 15)

EA Sports routinely conducts server maintenance during updates to ensure that the performance remains smooth. Today’s maintenance began at 6 a.m. UTC and will apply to the game on all platforms. Matchmaking was disabled at 5:30 a.m. UTC, and any attempt to start a match will result in an error.

Today’s maintenance (May 15) is expected to end at 12 a.m. UTC, and it’s a pretty lengthy downtime. Usually, EA Sports takes a couple of hours to complete routine updates. It’s unclear why the developers are taking the extra time. It’s also worth noting that the maintenance might be extended on short notice, and there have been such instances in the past.

Which EA FC 24 Modes Won’t Work?

When the servers are down, any game mode that requires online connectivity for matchmaking will cease to operate. This includes the entire Ultimate Team game mode, which depends on online matchmaking. Even squad battles will not work as long as the maintenance is live.

While the maintenance is on, players can always try out the kickoff mode between friends. Another great option is the Career Mode. This game mode allows players to play as managers/players/player managers to select a club and help it become the best in the world.

If you’re a fan of online matches and the Ultimate Team mode, you’ll need to wait till the maintenance gets over, and there’s no alternative. Hopefully, EA Sports won’t take longer than the scheduled timings for today’s EA FC 24 maintenance.
