Conan Exiles has been out in the market for a long time, and developers Funcom have made their online multiplayer survival available on multiple platforms. You can even enjoy all the content on Xbox Cloud services as well. So, is Conan Exiles cross-platform?
Is Conan Exiles Cross-Platform?
As of writing in March 2024, cross-platform is not available for Conan Exiles. Funcom has continued releasing plenty of new content along with routine updates, but it appears that cross-platform might not be coming anytime soon.
It’s worth noting that there never were any plans for implementing cross-platform during the early days. However, several multiplayer games have adopted it as demand for cross-platform has gradually increased in the community. Hence, there’s nothing to say that Funcom could one day introduce this feature to their survival title. For now, however, there’s no good news in store for the fans.
Can You Enjoy Cross-Play in Conan Exiles?
Sadly, the lack of cross-platform means that there’s no cross-play present even in 2024. The closest to it is perhaps the ability for console users to play cross-gen. Xbox Series XlS users can play together with those using the Xbox One consoles. Similarly, PS5 players can join the same lobbies with their friends on the PS4.
Something similar is also available for PC users. Whether you’ve purchased your copy on Steam, the Epic Games Store, or play using the PC Game Pass, you can all join the same lobby. However, there’s no way for players using consoles and PCs to play with each other.
It’s a shame since Conan Exiles has improved massively in terms of gameplay features and new content. Having cross-platform would certainly interest many more to pick it up and play with their buddies. Currently, you can get a big 70% off as the game is part of the Steam Spring Sale 2024.
