Gamers looking for the best monkey-themed video game around need to look no further than the Bloons franchise. This long-running franchise kept many of us, myself included, preoccupied during boring classes, and with the magnum opus of the franchise being available since 2018, many fans have found themselves itching to get back into the action. With the transition to 3D Graphics, the familiar Bloons Monkeys have never looked better, but does this come at a cost? Let’s find out and see.

Can You Play BTD6 For Free?

While the simplistic graphics of previous Bloons titles may feel nostalgic to many fans, there is something undeniably charming about seeing our favorite monkeys in full 3D. However, it does seem that this comes at a cost because Bloons TD6 does cost a few bucks to enter, alongside a shop in the game full of other transactions. However, the price of entry is not the same as a fully-fledged AAA title but still may come as a surprise to some.

If you’re hoping to play on mobile, you’ll need to pay $6.99 on iPhone/iPad or $6.99 on the Google Play Store. PC Players on the other hand are going to need to pay a little more to get access to their favorite chimps on the big screen, with a Windows Store version and Steam version coming in for $13.99. But, the real question is: can you put a price on this much fun?

Is Bloons TD6 Worth Paying Money For?

Thankfully, this game does go on sale rather often, so you may be able to pick it up for just a few dollars when sales start to hit, including the Steam Summer Sale event. So, while Bloons TD6 may not be free, the money you pay for these adorable little monkeys is well worth the investment. After a few rounds and plenty of hours down the drain, you can’t find a much better bang for your buck.
