Brazil in EA FC 24 would have been one of the best sides to pick in different game modes. After all, few nations have a history and pedigree as rich as the Selecao. Sadly, you can’t play as Brazil in EA FC 24.
Why Can’t you Choose Brazil in EA FC 24?
The major reason for the absence of the record FIFA World Cup Winner from the national team’s database is licensing issues. In fact, the top flight of Brazilian football is also absent from the database of different leagues (as it has an exclusive license with Konami and eFootball).
As shown by the following images, Argentina is followed by Belgium (if Brazil was in EA FC 24, it will have appeared after Argentina).
It was the same case last year in FIFA 23 but with a catch. While the original game database didn’t have the nation present at launch. However, the World Cup 2022 Tournament mode, added in November 2022, introduced the Selecaos to the database. Anyone who had played this mode could select Brazil and play with the authentic squad.
Unfortunately, there won’t be any such privileges available in EA FC 24. For one, there’s no World Cup tournament mode available now, or coming in the future. Secondly, it’s unlikely that EA Sports will have a separate DLC based around the 2024 Copa America. While there are mods that PC players can install and use, it’s certainly not the equivalent of authentic in-game squads (additionally, these mods are unavailable for console users).
Does EA FC 24 Have Brazilian Footballers?
While the nation might be absent, you can find Brazil in EA FC 24 indirectly. The South American nation is a treasure trove of talented footballers who ply their trade all around the globe. Naturally, many Brazilians have authentic names and in-game scanned faces as EA Sports owns the league licenses. Hence, you’ll find plenty of Brazilian footballers to play as, despite the absence of the national lineup.
