Amy Rose is one of the iconic Sonic franchise characters. She appears in many Sonic games, but is she a playable character in the recently-released Sonic Origins? Let’s find out.
Can You Play As Amy Rose in Sonic Origins?
Amy Rose is a kind-hearted tomboyish character created by Naoto Ohshima and Kazuyuki Hoshino. She is 90 cm (2′ 11″) tall and she loves fortune-telling, tarot cards, and all sorts of other mystical matters. Her weapon of choice is Piko Piko Hammer.
It was a destiny that lead Amy Rose to meet Sonic. She saw in her tarot cards that she will would Sonic on a “little planet.” That’s exactly what happened and she fell in love with him at first sight. Sadly, Sonic does not reciprocate her feelings.
Unfortunately, Amy Rose is not a playable character in Sonic Origins – not without mods or hacks, at least. Her first game appearance was in Sonic the Hedgehog CD.
