The Campfire is a social app for Pokemon Go published by the game’s creators, Niantic, as a replacement for other unofficial apps that could get players banned. The main use of the Campfire companion app is communication and better organization with other Pokemon Go players. To learn how to use the Campfire app for Pokemon Go, check out our guide below.

Installing and using the Campfire app for Pokemon Go is quite simple:

  1. Download the app from the App Store or Play Store
  2. Log in to your Pokemon Go account or create a new one.
  3. In Pokemon Go, tap on the map icon (right side of the screen), and the game will automatically transfer you to Campfire.

In the Campfire application, you can see what’s happening near you, where raids are organized, where Gyms are, and where eggs or rare Pokemon have spawned.

It should be noted that the services offered by the Campfire application are not yet available in all countries, so when you download the app, you may be greeted by a message that Campfire is “not yet available in your region.”

Also, this app was released recently and is currently in its first version, so we expect that Niantic will continue to develop this useful tool through future updates and make it even better since, for now, the community isn’t too excited about it judging from the low-score user reviews in both storefronts.
