How to Use Infinite Ammo in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Who needs ammo boxes?

There is much more the Resident Evil 4 Remake that players can pursue beyond finishing their first playthrough of the game, and the main driver of that is the Extra Contents shop. Infinite Ammo is just one bonus that is tied directly to the challenges found after beating RE4.

Getting a hold of as much ammo as you want for your weapons certainly will not be easy, but there are a couple of different methods that you can pursue. Individual weapons can have infinite ammo, or they can be unlocked universally. We will cover how you can pursue both paths in this Resident Evil 4 guide.

Resident Evil 4 Remake – How to Unlock Infinite Ammo

Before getting most of the powerful items in the Extra Content shop, the first step is to complete the game at least once, and another time on the hardest difficulty. This will unlock the Professional difficulty that opens up the path for some of the best bonuses in the game.

Three weapons can be unlocked with infinite ammo, and these include the Rocket Launcher, the Handcannon, and the Chicago Sweeper. The Rocket Launcher with unlimited rockets can be purchased in Chapter 2 of new game plus for 2,000,000 Pesetas. Both the Handcannon and the Chicago Sweeper need to be unlocked after a playthrough on Professional difficulty at A-Rank. Then they need to be upgraded to the maximum level in the Resident Evil 4 Remake

Unlocking the Cat Ears accessory is the final way to unlock infinite ammo in RE4 and it is also the most difficult. Completing the game on Professional difficulty with an S+ Rank is required to unlock it in the Extra Content shop. The challenge will be rough, but you will also unlock unlimited ammo for nearly every weapon in the game.
