Prisms can be upgraded in Remnant 2 by defeating enemies and completing quests. It is the same as if you were leveling up an Archetype.

Players will be alerted to enhance their Prism once leveled up and can choose one of the three enhancements or upgrade an existing enhancement if all five slots are already filled. Before the update, Fragments were equipped to your Relic. Now, the Fragments have been separated from the Relic and now reside in its own menu.

Fragments can also be fed to the Prism to gain experience faster, but this will destroy the Fragment in the process. However, feeding Fragments to the Prism will add the stat to the list of potential rolls.

Leveling up will offer three random stats, but feeding a certain Fragment will give a better chance to get that specific stat for the next level. It is not recommended to solely feed Fragments for the sake of leveling up, as you risk diluting the pool of potential enhancements with stats that you may not want. Though you should wait until all five slots have been filled before feeding Fragments for experience.

The maximum level for the Prism is 51, though players can reset it back to a blank slate after that to try out a different playstyle. The Prism can hold a total of three Fragments and five enhancements.

Some enhancements can be combined into Fusions, opening up a slot for another enhancement. Reaching the maximum level will reward you with a Legendary Bonus enhancement, which will offer stats like increasing all damage or grey health cannot be removed.
