They did it, the crazy bastards over at Blizzard finally did it. They have finally listened to our whims of wanted the adorable Vulpera as a playable race and now those fuzzy little dreams can come true! This race is small, but they pack a punch but there are a few things you should know about them before switching up your allied races.
The Alliance gets a weird cyborg gnome with the hMechagnomes while the Horde gets the much better Vulpera. What makes the Culpera even better is that they feel new, they don’t just feel like a reskin. But how do you unlock the Vulpera allied race?
How to Unlock the Vulpera Allied Race?
First things first, reach Exalted with Vuldunai, which involves successfully completing quests in Battle for Azeroth through both the main quests and the World Quest grind. Once exalted, it’s time to unlock the Secrets in the Sands achievement. In order to do so, the below narratives need to be completed:
- Unlikely Allies
- The Warguard’s Fate
- The Three Keepers
- Atul’Aman
- Dangers in the Desert
- A City of Secrets
- Storming the Spire
If you’ve already leveled up the Vulpera zone, you’re Gucci. If you didn’t complete that zone by somehow skipping it, those are what you need to tackle in order to unlock these cute little guys.
So when can players actually create a Vulpera? Players will be able to create their own Vulpera (pending everything seen above has been completed) when the next content update comes out of PTF. Once everything mentioned in this guide is completed, players will then earn the Allied Races: Vulpera achievement, which will then unlock the ability to create one. This also unlocks the Caravan Hyena map, which is pretty friggin’ cool.
As far as which classes the Vulpera are compatible with:
- Hunter
- Mage
- Monk
- Priest
- Shama
- Warlock
- Warrior
