How to Unlock the Winding Slitherdrake in Dragonflight

If you haven’t, begin the Embers of Neltharion campaign quests: This quest chain can be picked up from Ebyssian at the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken once reaching level 70, or automatically when logging in to a max-level character.

Complete campaign quests until Chapter 4 – Inherited Sin: The fourth chapter of the Embers of Neltharion campaign, Inherited Sin, is the one in which you’ll unlock the new Winding Slitherdrake. If you’re wondering why everyone and their mammy isn’t already riding one of these beauties – it’s because chapters 4 and 5 aren’t available until Tuesday, May 9. For some reason, these are time-gated quests, so sit tight if you’re reading this before then.

Finish the quest Worst of the Worst: Once you’re on this quest, that noodle is so close you could smell it. You’ll unlock your new Winding Slitherdrake as part of this campaign step, along with a hefty sum of Niffen reputation.

If you’re reading this before the next chapters go up, I can understand your frustration. I, too, was excited for the new mount only to have to wait a few more days to get my hands on it. In the meantime, however, you can always level up your Niffen reputation to get some cosmetics for your Winding Slitherdrake early – that way you can deck it out how you like when next week’s update finally arrives.
