How to Unlock the GS Magna in COD MW2 & Warzone 2

The Optimized Deagle.

Two handguns were added to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 with the release of Season 3 Reloaded. One of those was the FTAC Siege, which is essentially just the Tec-9 with plenty of submachine gun attachments, and the other was the GS Magna.

The Magna is a full auto version of the desert eagle, and now you can unlock the weapon for use in COD MW2, Warzone 2, and the COD DMZ mode. To ensure you have this handgun ready to go at a moment’s notice, we’ll cover all the ways in which you can unlock it for use in loadouts.

COD MW2 & Warzone 2 – How to Unlock the GS Magna

There are a few different ways to earn this weapon as your own in Season 3 Reloaded, and the easiest method is completing a challenge. Whether it’s in Warzone or in the MW2 Multiplayer, you can get 30 headshot Operator kills using the .50 GS. That is the semi-auto version of the desert eagle, and using it in Shipment 24/7 will only take a few matches at most.

Another way to unlock the GS Magna in Warzone 2 and COD MW2 is to extract it from the DMZ mode. Any weapon that you extract from the DMZ is automatically unlocked for use in loadouts. The Koschei Complex has potential spawns for the handgun, but they aren’t guaranteed. Taking out Operators and hoping they have a GS Magna is the best bet.

Your last option is to wait until there is a store bundle that contains the full auto .50 GS. This is technically the easiest way to earn the weapon, but you will have to wait, and it costs money. I went into the COD MW2 Multiplayer myself to quickly unlock this and I suggest you do the same if the option is there. Otherwise, good luck with the store or the headshots in Al Mazrah.
