Madd-Onnas are the majority of the monsters that you will find in Frozen Lake (Chapter 5 of the Adventure). However, there may be too many of them to handle when you are early into your Adventure progress. Luckily enough, you do not need to defeat all three thousand in a single run, but let’s keep this unlock condensed in one, maybe two runs, to save you some time. If you still need to unlock the Frozen Lake, check out how to unlock Chapter 5.

PowerUps that I took for the completion of this challenge are:

  • Defang
  • Recovery
  • Might
  • Cooldown
  • Max Health

Forging a path across a frozen lake, the reunited Moonspell Clan are assailed by Oni-summoned clones! Can the Moonspell Clan defeat the Frozen Three-thousand, and free Babi-Onna from her chilly prison?

I would skip any form of Curse for this run. Undoubtedly, the number of enemies might help you finish this feat faster, but take into account that they also have more HP, hit harder, and move more quickly. Patience is a virtue when playing fresh runs of Vampire Survivors.

Character and Weapon choices are not that big of a deal because you will quickly build up your arsenal anyway, but if you have Menya, you could go with Menya. Menya has a hidden passive ability that provides a lot of move speed and invulnerability for quite some time after you make about a thousand kills.

You will not get a notification in-game during your run when you finish the 3000 kills, but after your run is done, you will get the “achievement” on the end screen. There is a kill counter in the top-right corner of the screen you can monitor, too.

Here’s how to survive in Tanuki Forest in case you need assistance with the next challenge.
