The latest in Square Enix’s long-running series of music games has arrived, and it’s the biggest one yet. Literally, there are hundreds of tracks in Theatrhythm Final Bar line, and only a chunk of those are DLC. The bulk of the music comes at you via the main Final Fantasy series and select offshoots, which you unlock by playing through Series Quests. But they all start locked! Here’s how to unlock new titles in Theatrhythm Final Bar Line.

How to Unlock New Titles in Theatrhythm Final Bar Line
Like I said in the intro, you have to play through the Series Quests mode in order to fill out Final Bar Line’s massive track list. In this mode you pick a “Title,” then play through a series of songs from that game specifically. It’s basically a series of curated playlists. Each stage or song has its own gimmicks, such as enemy weaknesses. They also have quests, which are little goals such as using specific party members or taking out bosses with specific abilities. But we’re more interested in unlocks right now.

About halfway through a series, which can be as little as two tracks and a lot more, you’ll come across a treasure chest. The chest grants you a Title Key, which you can use to unlock another Title in the Series Quests menu. And that’s it! Do that a bunch of times and soon enough you’ll have played most of the “story mode” available in Theatrhythm Final Bar Line.
For reference, here’s a list of the “Titles” that make up Series Quest mode:
- Final Fantasy through Final Fantasy XV (all core titles)
- Final Fantasy VII “Series” and Final Fantasy VII Remake
- Final Fantasy XIII “Series”
- Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
- Final Fantasy Tactics
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles “Series”
- Dissidia Final Fantasy “Series”
- Final Fantasy Type-0
- Theatrhythm Final Fantasy “Series”
- Final Fantasy Record Keeper
- Mobius Final Fantasy
- Final Fantasy “Series”
- Final Fantasy Fables Chocobo’s Dungeon
Having a whole set dedicated to a dead mobile game sure is tragic, huh?
