How to Unlock the Crossbow in MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 2

Bolts are back.

Season 2 brings four brand new weapons to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, but some will be much easier to unlock than others. Three of the weapons are tied to the Battle Pass progression for Season 2, and the Crossbow happens to be the fourth that has extra challenges.

Depending on if you play Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2, or both, the challenges will change. They are all tied to the Path of the Ronin event that went live today, February 15. In our guide, we’ll cover how you can unlock the Crossbow and start using the new marksman rifle in your own loadouts.

MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 – How to Unlock the Crossbow

There are a total of seven challenges that are tied to the Path of the Ronin event. Completing all seven challenges will allow players to claim their Crossbow reward in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. So far, only some of the challenges have been revealed and we’ll have to wait for others to unlock. But we can get a head start.

Path of the Ronin Crossbow Challenges:

  • Integrity – In Warzone, finish in the top 10, 5 times or Win 15 Matches in any Multiplayer Game Mode
  • Honor – Restore Honor 5 times in Resurgence Matches or Get 100 Objective Defense Kills
  • Sincerity – Complete 5 Bounty contracts or Get 50 Operator Kills using Battle Rage
  • Compassion – TBA
  • Courage – TBA
  • Loyalty – TBA
  • Respect – TBA

Two challenges will be revealed next week and another two will be revealed the week after. That means players will have to wait about two weeks to get their Crossbow through MW2 or Warzone 2 challenges. There will be a store bundle at some point as well. However, there is no date on that yet.
