How to Summon a Pal to Your Base in Palworld

Put those Pals to work

You might have set up a station for yourself in Palworld, but it’s not truly complete until you can summon a Pal to your base. Luckily, summoning your first Pal to help you work is simple if you know where to drag.

Palworld – How to Summon a Pal to Your Base

To summon a Pal to your base, you need to catch a Pal and then drag its icon in the Palbox to the base menu at the bottom of the screen. Before you can do any kind of summoning, you need a base and a Palbox to work with. Catching a Pal is just the start of your journey, and if you want to get the upgrades rolling, setting up shop is important.

Placing a repair bench on the ground will mark the surrounding area as your base. From there, you can open the building menu and find far more options for you to work with. The Palbox is one of those options and you need to craft one anywhere in your base so you can get started on the next step with your newfound workers.

Once you have the Palbox and a fresh-caught Pal, open up the box itself. Inside you can see your current party and the contents of the box. Just below the main storage space, there is a section that reads “Pals at your base“. There is one small grey circle in that section that you can use to drag a Pal’s icon into the base.

Remember that there is no button to summon a Pal at your base in Palworld. I spent a couple of minutes wondering what I had to right-click to start the summon and complete the current task. Drag any of your Pals from your party or the storage to the bottom circle and the task is done. Now you can upgrade the Palbox and move on to the next set of tasks.

Don’t forget to cook up some food for your Pals after they get to work on your base.
