How to Steal the Ledger in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Time to prove yourself

One of the first real tests for Basim in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is stealing a ledger for Dervis at the docks and this is where the stealth begins. When you reach the area, however, the door to the ledger is locked and you need to find a way inside.

How to Get the Ledger in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

You can steal the ledger by sneaking into the building north of the docks and looting the key from the guards. If you use your Eagle Vision, all the nearby enemies will be highlighted in red. The enemy with the key will have an icon above their head, and you can either steal the key directly or eliminate them beforehand.

To get the key, I decided to sneak to the bottom floor and knock out the first guard. Once he was dealt with, I was able to take the ladder on the left side of the room to the second floor. Up top, there is some decent cover to stop the main guard from spotting you. Knock the main guard unconscious when he turns his back toward the wall and collect the key. If you want, you can also attempt to pickpocket, but it’s not necessary.

With the key in hand, head back to the building in the center of the docks where the ledger objective is marked. You can open the front door, and the book will be waiting for you to pick up. That’s all you need to steal the ledger in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. All that’s left is returning the item to Dervis so the contract is complete.

Of course, this sets the stage for the entry into Basim’s first encounter with the Assassins, and it may not go exactly as planned. At least this mission provides many of the basics you need to clear stealth checks in the game.
