How to Install Dave the Diver X Dredge DLC

The Dave the Diver X Dredge DLC is a free add-on for Dave the Diver. While it is in collaboration with Black Salt Games’ Dredge, this is DLC for Dave the Diver only.

The game did receive an update alongside the add-on, but players must download the DAVE THE DIVER – DREDGE Content Pack separately to receive the new content in the game. Steam players can visit the pack’s store page to add to their library, while Nintendo Switch players go to the eShop to download.

How to Access Dave the Diver X Dredge DLC

Once downloaded, players must wait until the nighttime of a day with a Thick Fog weather forecast before the new adventure begins. Players can check the weather on their phone to see when the next Thick Fog forecast will be.

Players must also be far enough into the game to unlock the Chicken Farm. Foggy nights will then occur a few in-game days after unlocking it.

The nighttime will be darker than usual, and players will meet with the Traveling Merchant. The merchant will tell of aberrant fish that can be caught at new locations on foggy nights and give you the Sky Fire item to use during those nights. Players will also encounter Hooded Figures as customers to Bancho Sushi, who will order dishes that require the new aberrant fish as ingredients.
