Players can start the Boss Rush Mode by interacting with a red World Stone and then choosing the World Settings option at the bottom of the wheel. There will be a new Boss Rush option next to Adventure Mode, so select Create New Boss Rush Mode.

There are three options to choose from: Triple Threat, Trial by Fire, and The Gauntlet. Players can choose to fight three, six, or 19 bosses, respectively. Once picked, choose one of the four difficulties to create a new game that does not affect Campaign or Adventure modes.

The Boss Rush Mode is available to all Remnant 2 players and does not require any of the DLC to access it. While it did launch alongside The Dark Horizon DLC, the mode was added in a free update for all players.

The mode also does not have any requirements before players can dive into it, such as beating the initial campaign or reaching a certain level. Players can access the mode at any time, which is the same as Adventure Mode.

Remnant 2 players will receive experience, crafting materials, and even gear as rewards for completing a Boss Rush game. Anything earned will be kept on the character picked.

There are two stages for each boss, with the first killing a horde followed by a mini-boss and the second with the actual boss itself. Players can find and open a treasure chest of materials and consumables within each stage.

There is no set gear to be earned from the mode, but the mode is a great way to get any gear you have previously missed. The experience is also great for the new Prism system that was introduced alongside the free update.
