It’s not every day you see a WoW quest that doesn’t have you “Fetch X” or “Kill this many of Y”, so this puzzle is indeed a breath of fresh air. Here’s how you can solve the puzzle of the Statue of the Bear Lord in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.

Location of the Statue of the Bear Lord Puzzle in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight

When you open the map of Emerald Dream, you will see two distinctive regions in the middle:

  • Lushdream Crags
  • Amirdrassil

The location you are looking for is in the middle of the line that goes between the letters “L” and “U” in the upper location and between the letters “A” and “M” in the lower location. Here’s an image of the map that points the way:

If you are looking for coordinates, you will find the statue around 47.00 / 52.00.

For the next part of the quest, you must move in the north-northeast direction, around 48.00 / 50.00. There, you will see a teal-colored glimmering item called “Mark of Ursol” on the ground you should interact with. After the interaction, you will see that you’ve received a one-minute buff in your buff bar and that an Honored Bear Spirit has appeared at your side.

Now, you need to hurry back to the statue, interact with it, and state that “you have been honored by a mighty bear spirit.” You should interact with the Boon of Ursol that spawns right in front of the bear statue. Upon opening it, you will see a cosmetic head item called Visage of Ursol. Loot it and equip it. And that’s it, you’re done.
