7 Days to Die is finally out of early access after nearly 12 years, and it’s one of the oldest survival games that continues to impress to this day. Like many other survival titles, players are required to keep an eye on their health, resources, temperature, and even hydration levels. But what about your sleep? Can you sleep in 7 Days to Die? Here is everything you need to know.

Can You Sleep in 7 Days to Die?

No, you can’t sleep in 7 Days to Die, and there is no sleep meter to keep track of either.

However, you can still craft a bed roll, which serves as your single respawn point. Once placed, you’ll see it on the map as well. Placing a bell roll will also restrict zombies from spawning near its location.

Keep in mind that you can’t have multiple respawn points, which is why the latest bed roll you place will serve as the default updated respawn location.

It’s recommended to have a secure storage chest next to it so that you can keep important things that you might need after respawning.

How to Craft a Bed Roll in 7 Days to Die

You can craft a bed roll in 7 Days to Die by combining ten pieces of Plant Fibers.

The bed roll can be found while you’re out exploring as well, and if you need plant fibers, you can scrap the bed roll for ten fibers, too.

So, even though there is a bed roll in 7 Days to Die, you don’t actually sleep in it. Maybe some zombie sleeps in it when you’re away from it? We’ll never know. What we do know is how you can get water in 7 Days to Die, and how you can get past the “Could Not Retrieve Server ID” error.
