How to Salvage Weapons in Redfall

Salvaging guns in Redfall allows you to clear up inventory space while also getting money, or “Support”, along the way.

To make things easy, below is a quick step-by-step to salvaging your weapons:

  • Head into your main menu and go to Loadout.
  • Select one of your weapons to enter your backpack.
  • Hover over the gun you want to get rid of and hold G (PC) or LT (Xbox) to salvage it.
  • Repeat this with any other weapon you want to clear out of your inventory!

In exchange for salvaging your guns, you’ll receive some currency, which you can spend in the in-game shops for medical supplies, other guns and more. Redfall also lets you buy ammo if you find yourself running out often.

Can You Sell Your Weapons?

Although Redfall allows you to salvage weapons for support, the same can’t be said about selling them. If you head into a shop, you’ll find the same options as you would in your inventory, with no additional choices for selling the items.

In a way, this makes things easier since you don’t have to wait to visit a vendor before dealing with your gear. Just make sure you’re out of combat before attempting to pause Redfall and salvage everything.

Redfall is available on PC and Xbox Series X|S. To learn more about the game, check out our complete list of Redfall content by clicking the tag below!
