How to Use the Repair Torch in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

One of the best ways to repair your vehicle is to find and use a Repair Torch. These items are not that uncommon, but they do take up one slot in your inventory or backpack.

The Repair Torch spawns with 200 charges and heals a vehicle for 25 HP per charge. As long as you have a Repair Torch, you’ll be able to repair a vehicle multiple times.

How to Repair Vehicles Using the Repair Centers

If you don’t want to carry a Repair Torch around, you can look for a service or repair center around the map. These areas have an icon similar to a gas station, which can be seen on the minimap and the main map. You can park the vehicle next to the pump station and it’ll automatically repair itself.

However, your main problem here is that these areas are frequented by players, especially near hot drop zones like Nitrodome or areas where there’s a boss spawn. If you are required to stay in these stations for a long time, you’ll surely find someone sneaking around marking your movements.

Where to Find Repair Crates

When you go to the main roads or these repair centers, you’ll often see some crates lying around the area. They have a little icon on them, and if you see a red one with a wrench, it means it is a repair crate.

If you want to repair your vehicle, you should run over it, and it’ll instantly repair your vehicle to its maximum health. You’ll find various crates lying around, and most of them are actually for vehicle upgrades, such as off-road tires, cow catchers, bulletproof tires, and much more.

Repair crates are the most common, however. If you find yourself in a battle, make sure to look for these crates as it could literally win you the battle.

Most of these vehicle repairs and mods are actually quests in Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass. They have tons of exclusive rewards available, including the Megalo Don and the Fallout 4 collaboration.
