How to Recruit Workers in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur

Yes, sire!

Workers are the lifeblood of your Kingsmarch settlement in Path of Exile’s Settlers of Kalguur league. You can’t finish anything in Kingsmarch without your precious workers, and like all workers, you’ll also have to pay them with gold. Workers have an initial cost and an hourly wage, and here’s how to recruit these workers in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur.

Where to Recruit Workers in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur

To recruit workers, you need to upgrade the Recruitment area to the first rank. It only costs a couple of gold. Go to the town hall and look for the hammer icon next to Johan, The King’s Hand. Click the icon to upgrade to the Recruitment stage. Talk to Raulf, the Recruiter, and it’ll open the recruitment page.

On the recruitment page, you’ll see the available workers for hire on the left side and your hired idle workers on the right side. Each worker has a specialization, and they can also have a combination of specializations. Here’s a short list of all the specializations:

  • Mining
  • Farming
  • Smelting
  • Shipping
  • Smelting
  • Disenchanting
  • Mapping

A worker can have a combination of two or more specializations, but their wage goes up. Preferably, you want to hire the best worker for each specialization without having any extra skills. If you don’t see any workers available, you can reroll the workers for hire page by pressing the tiny button in the middle of the page. Once you get to workers with specializations ranked 7 or higher, it’ll be harder to find the perfect workers through rerolling.

How to Increase Worker Cap in PoE 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur

You start off with a population capacity of 15 workers. If you upgrade the Recruitment area next to Johan, you’ll eventually get more worker capacity. It can go up to as high as 90 and at this point, it is a bit too much already.

The Recruitment upgrades follow the specific tiers of resources made available as you progressively upgrade other areas, such as mining, farming, smelting, and others. Generally, you want to upgrade everything you can with the resources you have and start planting, mining, smelting, and disenchanting all the new resources to upgrade to the next tier.

While doing these upgrades, you should go run maps and farm some gold because things will get expensive really fast. If you want to learn more about the biggest changes in the league and make some currency, check it out here.
