How to Recruit the Jawas in Jedi Survivor

My special little guys!

It was only a matter of time before we got to see some Jawas in Jedi Survivor and you can even recruit them for Pyloon’s Saloon. After all, would it really be a Star Wars cantina without all kinds of classic alien species and other odd recruits like Skoova Stev?

Unlike other recruits found throughout Jedi Survivor, the Jawas are pretty well hidden, and you’ll need to go out of your way to find them. I didn’t reach them until well after I had finished the main story, but now I can outline exactly how to get them on Cal’s side.

Jedi Survivor – How to Recruit and Check on the Jawas

Before attempting this recruitment, you’ll need access to the air dash. The Jawas reside in the Bygone Settlement, which follows the Nekko Pools and the Forest Array. When you first arrive here, it will be impossible to reach the future recruits, but unlocking the dash on Jedha will solve that problem. Once you have the dash unlocked in Jedi Survivor, head back to the Bygone Settlement. You may even have the rumor to check on the Jawas, but I got to this point without the quest.

Step one is to use your mount and jump up to the meditation point in the area. Then you need to climb up to the bridge where the is a zip line that can connect to the initial Mediation Point. After this area is where you’ll see an opening to air dash to a climbing point. Follow this path until you reach the room with a Jawa under attack. Save the poor alien and they’ll repay you by pulling in another platform.

At first, I thought that was it, but the platforms need to be pushed and pulled accordingly with the Force to reach the other side of the Bygone Settlement in Jedi Survivor. When you reach the end of the platforms, you’ll have to fight off some enemies before finding the rest of the Jawas in their scrapper vehicle. Simply talk to them and they’ll join the Saloon. And I promise there’s a great view further up.
