How to Pre-Order the PSVR2

If you want to pre-order PSVR2, you’ll need to wait until November 15; pre-orders officially go on sale then. However, since the initial wave of virtual reality headsets will be through PlayStation’s online store, you will need to pre-register for a chance to pre-order. I know it sounds silly, but that’s the system they have implemented to try and protect customers from scalpers.

To pre-register for a chance to obtain a PSVR2, head to the page on the PlayStation Direct website. From here, sign in and click the “Register” button. This will enter you into a lottery-style system. You’ll receive an email later if you’ve been chosen to pre-order a PlayStation VR2 headset. Hopefully, you get lucky.

“If you are selected, we will contact you via email with the date, time and instructions for your opportunity to pre-order a PS VR2. Registering does not guarantee that you will receive an invite. “

The PlayStation Blog shares a little more information on which countries will be able to purchase a headset in the initial wave.

“During this initial launch phase for our next-gen headset, players in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg will initially be able to pre-order PlayStation VR2 solely through PlayStation’s online store at direct.playstation.com.”

Well, that’s everything you need to know about how to pre-order a PSVR2. Check out if PSVR2 is backward compatible.
