How to Use the Payday 3 Skill Builder

The Payday 3 Skill Builder we’re using today is PD3.gg, which provides a complete list of every skill available in the game, alongside the maximum number of points you can spend. With these, you can allocate points into various skill trees, view the skill’s info, and observe the buffs you’ll receive with your desired build.

Since you start at max points immediately, you can easily click each square to learn and unlearn skills without waiting for research or level-ups. In short, you can gauge what trees to prioritize and even work with friends to create different builds for each other.

Below is a quick example build I created using the site. While I didn’t optimize it to give the best buff sources or additional benefits, it shows some information you can expect to see as you use the skill builder.

Depending on how deep you wish to dive into the skill builder, you can carefully plan exactly what upgrades you want and when you’ll unlock them. You can also compare skills and experiment with different builds to see what works best for you. If you have an idea of a new build but need help setting it up, the planner can also help you fine-tune it.
