Despite several nerfs and adjustments made by EA Sports, Trivelas continue to be extremely effective in EA FC 24. It’s a type of shot that’s harder to execute and requires advanced knowledge and practice. When performed correctly, it can help players to score goals from near-impossible angles.

What is a Trivela Shot in EA FC 24?

Usually, any shot is executed with the inside of one’s foot. This is something applicable in real life as well. Trivelas are a type of shot where the shooter kicks with the outside part of the foot. These shots usually travel away from the keeper, making it harder for them to save. However, the shot also goes towards the outside of the goal. Hence, it’s very easy to miss a shot as well.

How to Perform a Trivela in EA FC 24

Performing an outside foot shot is a combination of two buttons, but there are multiple factors to be considered.

  • Press the R2+B button on your Xbox controller.
  • Press the RT+Circle button on your PlayStation controller.

There are certain points to note when you want to use the Trivela shot. The power should be sufficient enough in the first place. For a layman, anything above two bars of power is good enough. Do note that an outside foot shot needs more power than a normal shot.

Also, keep the angle of the goal while performing the shot. There should be enough distance for the ball to travel to beat the goalkeeper. If the distance is too much, it will fly away from the goal’s opening and miss the target.

Lastly, always prefer to use cards that have Trivela+ as a playstyle. Cards with this particular playstyle+ shoot outside foot shots more accurately and with greater power. Trivela+ has become much more important after the recent title updates from the developers. Ultimately, these shots have a high chance of missing the target, but they’re extremely hard to save for any goalkeeper.
