How to Open the Ward 13 Chest in Remnant 2

Remnant 2 is a game that doesn’t shy away from including more than enough secrets for you to dig into. These can be more basic (at least relatively) like different ways to handle certain bosses. Others can be a little more obscure, even if at first glance they appear simple enough. One of these secrets comes through a chest within Ford’s room in Ward 13, though the code for which can’t be found nearby. Here’s how to open the Ward 13 Chest in Remnant 2.

How to Access Ford’s Chest in Remnant 2

If you’ve been scrounging around in the area surrounding the chest, chances are you’ve found nothing in Ford’s journals to indicate how to open the Ward 13 chest. That’s because the answer isn’t somewhere nearby, rather it’s been in your inventory the whole time. Head to said Inventory and inspect your Flashlight. On the bottom of your flashlight is a code, 0415.

Where to Use the Cargo Control Key

Use that code on the chest and it will open, revealing a Cargo Control Key. You might find yourself stumped here as well. However, it’s easy once you know where you need to go. If you remember where you went to find the Worldstone at the start of the game, head in that direction though don’t head down toward the big door. Instead, head to the right toward the cargo containers.

From there, it should be a fairly straightforward shot. Head past those containers, down into the ship, and through the corridors to find a door, which normally can’t be opened. Use the key on the door, and inside you’ll find the MP60-R submachine gun, acting as a handgun in your inventory. This little thing could be nice if you want something a little more classical, or if not, is a cool secret, nonetheless.
