How to Open Sublevels With The Lockdown Wheel in Amnesia: The Bunker

Hopefully nothing scary awaits us in those two sections of the bunker... right... RIGHT?

You’ve opened the Administrator’s Office door, but you have sadly been stuck with progress in the story again. Worry not, I have you covered not just for this part of Amnesia: The Bunker, but for the entire playthrough of this delightful horror experience made by Frictional Games. Now, we’ll help you find the replacement Lockdown Wheel and get you access to Prison and Soldier Quarters in a jiffy.

How to Unlock Prison and Soldier Quarters with the Lockdown Wheel in Amnesia: The Bunker

As you open the door with the code, to your left, and down the hallway, you will spot a big wheel on the left wall which you should spin in order to open more areas of the Bunker (namely, Prison and Soldier Quarters). Unfortunately, the Wheel crumbles as you try to spin it, and you need a replacement wheel to resume the action.

Right across that wheel, slightly to the right, is the Mission Storage. Follow that side of the wall and you will see a loose grate/vent. Remove it and jump in. On the screenshot below, it’s east of the right door that is colored yellow.

You will then learn that the new wheel belongs to a Locker of a soldier called Delisle. Remember that name, go to his room (seen in the map above), and grab his Dog Tag. You can gain access to his room either by breaking the door or by opening the adjacent door and finding another vent on the wall of Delisle’s room. In the screenshot below, you can see where the Lockdown Wheel was stashed in my playthrough.
