While there are multiple ways to get the same results in Infinite Craft, you’re always inclined to go for the easiest route if possible. When it comes to making Steel for some further crafting, you have a lot of options handed to you.

How to Get Steel in Infinite Craft

While many formulas can result in Steel, one of the easiest you can get without much trouble is combining Iron + Iron. But reaching this element isn’t that intuitive (as most of the recipes in the game never are), and you first must get Oxygen at the table.

  • Earth + Water = Plant
  • Plant + Plant = Tree
  • Tree + Tree = Forest
  • Fire + Wind = Smoke
  • Smoke + Smoke = Cloud
  • Cloud + Water = Rain
  • Rain + Forest = Rainforest
  • Rainforest + Plant = Oxygen

And now with the source of all life at the palm of your hands, it’s time for some chemical reactions to enter the game. You’ll need to get a couple of other metals before actually reaching Steel, but once you oxidate them enough, your final destination will only be a few steps away.

  • Earth + Fire = Lava
  • Lava + Water = Stone
  • Stone + Earth = Rock
  • Rock + Oxygen = Metal
  • Metal + Oxygen = Rust
  • Rust + Rust = Iron
  • Iron + Iron = Steel

And that’s it! With a few more steps than the usual for “quick recipes”, Steel is yours and you can now apply it to anything you want. So why not do it right now?

Recipes That Use Steel in Infinite Craft

While there are endless results you can reach with Steel in its recipe, here are some of the most interesting combinations I could find in the game.

  • Steel + Fish = Swordfish
  • Steel + Divorce = Alimony
  • Steel + Wall = Prison
  • Steel + Murder = Knife
  • Steel + Anime = Gundam
  • Steel + Steam = Train
  • Steel + Clean = Stainless Steel
  • Steel + Mud = Pig Iron
  • Steel + Jungle = Tank
  • Steel + Sea = Ship
  • Steel + Blockbuster = Iron Man
  • Steel + Heart = Iron Heart
  • Steel + Time Machine = Terminator

With many more combinations on the horizon, you should start getting even more different items and elements to use in your next fusions. Getting Letters, for example, would be a good start, or just go with some crazy, random stuff like Peter Griffin if you want to see some chaos being unleashed.
