How to Craft Dynamite in LEGO Fortnite

Making dynamite requires using three knotroot rods and one blast powder in a crafting bench. Once you get your hands on either resource, you’ll unlock the recipe for dynamite in your crafting table, allowing you to make one for every set of knotroot rods and blast powder you use.

To make multiple dynamite bundles, you’ll need plenty of knotroot and blast powder to craft it.

How to Get Dynamite Crafting Materials in LEGO Fortnite

Obtaining knotroot rods requires crafting an uncommon axe and chopping down roots in caves before refining the wood into rods at a lumber mill. Blast powder is available in the open world, but you’ll have to search abandoned tower chests or venture into the Dry Valley biome and defeat pirate skeletons.

How to Use Dynamite in LEGO Fortnite

Dynamite is an explosive projectile you can throw by holding it in your character’s hand, holding down your attack button to aim it, and then releasing it to toss the dynamite at your chosen spot. After a short delay, it will explode, dealing 16 damage to any boulders, animals, or monsters in its radius.

Dynamite dealing 16 damage in one attack makes it more powerful than most other weapons in the game. However, while you can hit multiple times with a crossbow and sword in short succession, dynamite requires careful aim and timing to pull off.

In other words, it’s a decent option if you have multiple enemies grouped up, catch a monster off-guard, or forget your pickaxe and need a backup plan.
