How to Make a Bug Platter in Disney Dreamlight Valley

During Nala’s “Eyes in the Dark” quest, she and Simba ask you to gather various bug types and cook a platter with them. After fishing, digging and collecting these bugs in the Lion King realm, you’ll have to head to a cooking station and begin making the dish.

What’s the main worry, then? Figuring out the right number of bugs for the dish!

In the quest, you gather six colorful and red bugs alongside three slimy bugs. The next quest task asks you to make three bug platters with these, and you’re limited to five cooking slots.

With this in mind, you’ll need to use the following combination to make one platter:

  • Colorful Bug x2
  • Red Bug x2
  • Slimy Bug x1

Don’t worry about getting more bugs, though. If you’re at this point in the quest, you should have exactly enough items for all three bug platters.

With that said, toss each bug into the cooking pot and heat some coal to make your first bug platter! Repeat this twice more to get all three bug platters for the quest before returning to Nala and Simba. They’ll express gratitude, and you’ll progress through the Eyes in the Dark quest!
