How to Invade in Lords of the Fallen

No dimension is safe

Lords of the Fallen has plenty of features that you would expect from any soulslike game at this point and multiplayer invasions are one of them. Luckily, the ability to invade is available for everyone super early into the game and it’s easy to get started as long as you have a Vestige point nearby. Here’s how to invade in Lords of the Fallen.

How do Invasions Work in Lords of the Fallen?

To invade in Lords of the Fallen, you can interact with any major Vestige point like the one found at Skyrest Bridge, and then select the multiplayer tab at the bottom of the menu. When you enter the multiplayer options there will be four different selections you can make. For invasions and PvP you want to choose the “Slaughter Lampbearer” option.

Once you choose that option you will be transported to another player’s world. In some cases, you might have another ally on your side in a 2v1 fight. However, most of these encounters are brutal 1v1 fights. At the very least you might have some enemies that attack the host if they run too far away from you.

If you have multiplayer settings active, which are on by default in Lords of the Fallen, then you can also be invaded as you explore Axiom. You can always disable this in the settings if you don’t want random lampbearers ruining your day. And if you decide you’d rather do the invading, then just go back in and turn multiplayer on.

For those of you who relish in the heat of battle, you can utilize Charred Fingers to increase your rewards when invaded in Lords of the Fallen. It might even instigate more attacks so beware of the lampbearers when you use these.
