To increase your inventory, you’ll need to find the hidden Korok seeds that are scattered throughout Hyrule. Always be on the lookout for out-of-place rocks, weird happenings, and other oddities around the world. Chances are, a Korok is waiting to be found.

Once you have a bunch of Seeds, you’ll need somewhere to spend them.

That’s where Hestu comes in. This large Korok who shakes his maracas can increase your inventory space if you give him Korok seeds. You can increase your weapon stash, your bow stash, and your shield stash for varying amounts of Korok Seeds.

The first time you’ll meet Hestu is northwest of Central Hyrule. He is at the coordinates (-1699, 1068, 0198)

You’ll have to complete the side quest where he asks you to take care of some shakey trees that will attack you. Clear those out, and you’ll be all set to use Hestu’s services to increase your inventory.

After that, Hestu will talk about finding a more peaceful place to relax; he’s heading east toward the village. You’ll need to meet him there for future upgrades.

I recommend going for your weapon stash upgrades first if you can spare the seeds.
