Apex Legends has brought the ability to gift with Season 15. And I, for one, am delighted to shower my favorite Discord kitten with all the best skins money can buy.

Here’s how to shower your friends and loved ones with skins, Apex Packs, and even stickers in Apex Legends.

How to Give Gifts in Apex Legends

In order to stop hackers from taking advantage of other people’s accounts, Respawn has implemented a few ground rules before you can start gifting.

  • First, your account needs to be at least level 10.
  • You must have login verification turned on.
  • You must have been friends with the recipient for at least 2 weeks.
  • You can only give up to 5 gifts max per 24 hours.
  • You can only gift items that can be purchased with Apex Coins.
  • Apex Coins themselves cannot be gifted.

You should make sure you know what platform the recipient of your gift is on, and make sure that they’re not banned first. All gifts are final and not refundable.

To purchase a gift, go into the Apex Store and select the item you’d like to send, which can be purchased with Apex Coins. You should see a button labeled Gift. Click it, and you’ll see a list of your friends, their platforms, and whether they can receive the gift.

How Do I Access My Gifts in Apex Legends?

If you’ve been sent a gift, it will go directly to your inventory and you should receive a notification in your inbox telling you as much. You won’t have to do anything else!

Your inbox can be accessed at the bottom right of the lobby screen, as it shares a tab with news.

How to Turn on Login Verification in Apex Legends

Go to the EA site, and log into the account associated with your Apex Legends account. From there, click your profile in the top right corner. It should take you to a page labeled My Account: About Me.

Click Security. There, you should see Login Verification and a button labeled ‘Turn On’. Click it, and it’ll send a security code to the e-mail address associated with your Apex Legends account.

Even once this is done, there’s a chance that it might take some time for Apex Legends to register that you are Login Verified. Restart the game and try again.
