How to Get Venom Glands in Palworld

Grab some poison to make deadly bows and arrows.

Venom glands are crucial in Palworld’s early game if you want to get powerful weapons like the poison bow and crossbow before swapping to guns. Let’s talk about how to get your hands on some venom glands, including what Pals drop this valuable resource.

How to Get Venom Gland in Palworld – Exact Location

You can find venom glands by catching or defeating certain dark-type Pals such as Daedream, Depresso, and Killamari. You’ll typically find them in caves and dungeons or roaming the wild at night, allowing you to spot them early on.

However, not all dark-type Pals drop venom glands. For example, Hoocrates has unique drops that differentiate it from other dark-type Pals.

With that in mind, my go-to method for finding venom glands is to search for Daedream and Depresso at night, as they spawn in numerous regions. In particular, I worked on catching at least ten of each to get bonus EXP while obtaining dozens of venom glands to craft with. Considering I used the poison crossbow for a while, I needed plenty of this material to make arrows.

How to Use Venom Gland in Palworld

The main use for venom glands is to create the poison bow, crossbow and matching arrows once you unlock them at levels eight and seventeen. Each set of five arrows requires one venom gland, which adds up once you start crafting this in large batches.

Similarly, a poison bow requires two glands, while the crossbow uses five. In other words, the weapons alone need this material, while their arrows require a consistent source the more you use them.
