How to Get to Zaralek Caverns in World of Warcraft Dragonflight

I hope you have a nose for adventure.

Like a mighty drake from the clouds above, World of Warcraft Dragonflight’s 10.1 patch hath descended upon us. With this patch comes a brand new zone – and wouldn’t you know it, there was a giant cavern right under our feet this entire time! Luckily for us, the three new big bads have opened the way, and even though it’s most certainly a trap nothing can stop a content-ravenous WoW player from new goodies. So let’s learn how to get to Zaralek Caverns together in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.

How to Get to Zaralek Caverns in WoW Dragonflight

First, log in. I’m serious – if you have a level 70 character you’ll receive a brand new questline, starting with The Lands Beneath, immediately upon logging in. This quest chain, Embers of Neltharion, is the main campaign for patch 10.1. If you aren’t level 70 yet, you can pick up the quest chain after reaching Valdrakken by speaking with Ebyssian at the Seat of the Aspects.

Head to the Seat of the Aspects. You’ll want to regroup with the Aspects before heading into battle, so speak with Ebyssian and Alexstraza and watch the cutscene for some quick exposition in case you missed it when booting the game.

Fly over to Cascades Canyon. One of the entrances to Zaralek Caverns lies in Cascades Canyon, just West of Valdrakken. Follow the quest marker and do some detective work with Wrathion and Sabellion (read: click the glowing items on the ground) before heading below.

Fly into the Caverns below. Once you find out whodunnit, fly into the gaping hole in the ground and get ready for battle. After a brief event quest, the Zaralek Caverns will be yours to explore!
